Lecture Capture: One-Touch Recording
Recording educational content should be easy, no matter what operating system you're using. Chipcast at CMU is a cross platform recording, encoding, and publishing solution that provides your content to students via iTunes U. Using Podcast Capture on a Mac, and Debut on a PC, all you need to do is press "record" to begin, and then "stop" to finish. Then, simiply name your recording and the Chipcast workflow does the rest.
Workflow Processing: Automated Encoding & Uploading
Workflows are an automated assembly line for your podcast. Once you submit a recording, the workflow automatically adds your custom title, an intro and outro video, and a CMU watermark. Next it will automatically encode your recording to a mobile format, publish it to your iTunes U section or Blog, and then send an e-mail notification letting you know that a new podcast has been posted. Creating educational content has never been easier.Delivery via iTunes U: Content Anytime, Anywhere
iTunes U provides your students with the same user experience as the cross-platform iTunes Software from Apple. Using the same familiar interface, iTunes U is a great place for students and access and download your lecture content. Your iTunes U course section is setup through Blackboard, so only your students have access to your content. How do I get started?
